Course Description:
For more than 20 years, it has been the mission of AED Institute to educate community responders to take the actions needed to help in emergencies prior to the arrival of our professional responders. The first few minutes of any emergency, whether cardiac arrest, bleeding, or overdoses, are the most critical for the best outcomes.
In our new Community Responder Essentials Course, students will learn the simple steps to help a victim in need. This course is designed to build confidence, break some of the long-time myths, and give students hands-on learning to be that responder that is willing to help a family member or friend. All ages are welcome to attend.
